The 2016 HSCC Super Touring Car Challenge started at a blistering pace at the weekend.
Series debutant Colin Noble Jnr put his newly acquired Triple Eight Vauxhall Vectra on pole position from Stewart Whyte by a mere six thousandths of a second with double British Touring Car Champion, Colin Turkington in a Group A BMW E30 taking third spot only three tenths off the pole time.

Double British Touring Car Champion Colin Turkington is to join the grid of the HSCC Super Touring Car Championship at the Donington Historic Festival.
Colin will be part of a 19 car entry driving an Ex DTM BMW E30 M3 that was originally driven by fellow Brit Steve Soper in the 1992 German Championship.
